How To Add Disqus Comment Plugin To Blogger
You may wonder what is the necessity of installing Disqus on your blogger blog when there is a comment section provided by default on blogger. Disqus is a social comment platform which enables your readers to comment on your blog without the need to sign up. It is much more like the Facebook comment plugin, but with more specs such as the ability to filter spam comments, ability for monetization with the Disqus reveal program, more comments for your blog since your readers would already be comfortable with Disqus. Disqus is quite popular over the internet for commenting, so there is no reason why you would not want to integrate it on your blog.
To add disqus comment plugin, you’ll first of all have to create an account with disqus.
To do so,
- head on to disqus and create your account.
- Thereafter, you’ll have to choose what you want to do with disqus. Pick the second option “I want to install Disqus on my site
- Afterward, you’ll have to choose your platform. In this case, select blogger which is the second option at the top after wordpress.
- At this stage, you will be presented with a series of steps. Follow them after the other when done, click on configure.
When you click the first option, Disqus will connect with blogger and you’ll need to sign in to your blogger dashboard.
A gadget is added to your sidebar. Move beneath your posts and click save arrangement
