Nigerian singer Chidinma Ekile releases a song titled This Love. The new release is the latest gospel single being dropped by the artiste in recent time. Recall that last month, Chidinma dropped another gospel song titled “Jehovah Overdo“.
While she officially signed to Eezee conceptz. The record label also announced Chidinma’s new found love on its social media handles including Instagram.
Chidinma released popular songs like “Kedike” and was in usual collaboration with Flavour.
Though the Nigerian artiste occassionally dropped gospel songs while singing as a circular artiste, her full transition to gospel is a welcome development.
A gift is best put to use, if it is used for the advancement of the kingdom of God.
In the new track “This Love”, Chidinma pours out her heartfelt eulogy to God for pouring His love, not minding her sinful nature.
This is indeed true of the sacrifice of the cross, as Christ came to save sinners.
Surely His love was poured for us, and while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Surely, He has borne our grief and carried our iniquity, and on Him lies the chastisement that brings us peace, and through His wounds, we have been healed.
This extension of love which Christ poured is for us all.
May we embrace this love in full appreciation as we all cry out “This Love”.
