“Call On The Name,” a brand-new song by GRAMMY®-nominated Cody Carnes from his upcoming live album, is now available.
“’Call On The Name’ is a salvation song,” explains Cody Carnes. “It leads people through the call and the confession that scripture talks about. Romans 10 says, If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.. everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. I believe we’re stepping into a great harvest where many people are coming to know Jesus. I’m praying this song helps lead people into that confession of salvation! “
He started his first headlining tour earlier this year with worship leader Benjamin William Hastings; the second leg of the tour will start in July, with tickets going on sale on Monday, May 15. He will participate in both his own tour and the Worship Together Nights tour. He participated in the “West Coast Blessing Tour,” which featured Martin Smith and his wife Kari Jobe, this spring, with many of the shows being sold out. This fall, the “Blessing Tour” will resume with dates throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. To view all of his upcoming tour dates, click here.
Carnes hosted a two-night live worship event last summer at The Belonging Co., the Nashville location of his church. God Is Good!, his debut live album, which was published the previous year, and his next project were both created during those evenings. The song “Ain’t Nobody,” which was featured on God Is Good! and spent four weeks at the top of the Mediabase Christian Audience chart, gave Carnes his first No. 1 radio record. Carnes has already received three GRAMMY nominations for his work, and as a songwriter, he presently has 15 songs in the CCLI Top 2000 chart.
