Will Adiks was born with the real name, Godwill Batan Adikibiayeofori, His stage name is Will Adiks. He was born into the family of late Adikibiayeofori Godwill Baton and Mrs Idikisemama Rhoda Adikibiayeofori of Bolo Luk Royal House, Kile Wac Canoe House and Adana War Canoe House of Bolo Town in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area on July 1, 1983. The singer who was born in Lagos state, is the first son amongst 6 children born to the late Adikibiayeofori Godwill Baton.
Adiks had his early education at Faith Nursery and Primary School, Olodi Apapa. He then proceeded to Tin Can Island Secondary School, Olodi Apapa, after which, he proceeded to the polytechnic for his higher education.
Adiks was full of strength while growing up, and never liked idleness. He was dedicated and committed to football while growing up so much, that his family thought he would become a footballer. Apart from footballing, Adiks was also engaed in other small skills like production of foot wears, sandals and easy wears. He also worked as woodworker/wood designer and machine operator after going through the normal apprentice process at Marine Base Timber Market.
Will Adiks was converted into the Deeper Christian Life Ministry as a child together with his parents in 1987. Goodwill showed great enthusiasm in his early faith in Christ that he was made the Chapel Prefect of his school during his secondary school days at Tin Can Island Secondary School, Lagos.
He started music at a tender age, Adiks used every available opportunity to compose songs. His first album titled “Hear of Worship” was released on 21st April 2017, barely a year after his gruelsome murder.
The talented singer was murdered by unidentified gunmen in December 2016.
