Peterson Okopi was born on August 8, 1997, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Adikwu.
Hailing from Benue State, he grew up on the Nigerian Airforce Base in Ikeja, Lagos, where his father served as an Airforce personnel.
For his education, he attended Nigerian Airforce primary and secondary schools. He later enrolled at Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), where he earned an Ordinary National Diploma in English.
Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the National Open University.
Peterson is signed to TWC Records, a Lagos-based record label.
He debuted with his first single, “Amazing God,” in 2018, followed by his second and third singles, “Baba” and “Up to Something,” released in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
In 2021, he released another single titled “Oga Eme,” and his debut album, “Osuba,” came out in May 2021.
Peterson has ministered at several churches, including the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
He has shared the stage with renowned artistes like Nathaniel Bassey, Judikay, Victoria Orenze, Dunsi Oyekan, Efe Nathan, and others.
His contributions to the industry have been recognized with awards such as the Clima Africa Award for Discovery Artiste of the Year 2021 and the Annual Gospel Music Award Ambassador 2021.
In July 2024, Peterson announced his engagement to Prudent Gabriel, a fashion designer whom he married in October 2024.
