Mercy Chinwo – Overwhelming Victory [Full Album]

“Overwhelming” Victory is Mercy Chinwo’s third studio album. The album was released in 2024. The album brings together both studio and live elements. Mercy Chinwo leans into hope, joy and optimism on the new release tagged, ‘Overwhelming Vitory’.

Speaking on the project and pouring out for thoughts on it to Apple Music, Chinwo says:

“For me, it is a joyful theme; it depics victory, it depics joy, it depics faith, it depicst hope in our walk with Christ – and I’m really excited about this project because, it’s really going to encourage not just Christians, but people who hope to be a part of us, and it will really make them know more about the person of Jesus Christ; and it’s really exciting to know that I was heavily pregnant whilst working on this project. It was a bit different for me, because I had to do certain things that I would likely not do if I wasn’t pregnant. I had to leave my comfort zone. I haad to ensure that I put in the work, the time, energy into making this project a reality. It was a great experience for me”.

Chinwo celebrates the evolution of her journey in over 12 tracks which consist the project. It further encapslates everything that is to come as she looks ahead for the future.

Shedding more light, she said:

“Mercy is that girl that has been mindfully helped by God, Mercy is that girl that is willing to share her journey with the world, to put smiles on the faces of people and to encourage them to trust God and stay aligned with their walk with God”.

“Overwhelming Victory” was released on 1st March 2024 and features 12 tracks.
